Welcome to 2023

Why one man decided to take on the challenge

As 2022 draws to a close I want to thank God for such a blessed year. I spent the first three months on sabbatical, stepping away from frontline ministry in my church to rest, recover and reconnect with God. It was an amazing time. 2022 has seen me visit new places, make new friends, try new things and step out in new ways. It has seen the arrival of Tarzan (a four legged friend for Willow) and in December we have been blessed to become grandparents for the first time with the arrival of Georgia.

I thank God for all of this and I am excited to see what else He has in store for myself, Carita Hills and our family in the coming year.

As I write this I am very aware that 2022 may have been very different for you. My post is not meant to be self congratulatory but thankful. I pray that what ever 2022 gave or took from you that you will be able to find hope and peace. I pray too that as we turn the page and move into a New Year you will have reasons to be thankful also.

I pray 2023 will be full of love, laughter and blessings.
