On Sundays we meet at Prince William School, Herne Road, Oundle.  Our morning service starts at 10.30 a.m. and finishes at about midday.  This is an occasion for worship and teaching.  A time of ministry is either incorporated in the service or is available informally afterwards. 

Children and Young People join us initially and then go to their own age-specific groups.  There is a creche for babies and toddlers.

On the first Sunday of every month our morning service takes the form of a Cafe Style service.  Seating is grouped around small tables, and coffee and cake are served in a relaxed, informal atmosphere, in which those who are less used to a traditional church environment can hear the Christian message presented in a way that is easy to relate to.  We are currently following a series entitled Just10@OundleBaptistChurch in which we are looking at the relevance of the Ten Commandments to 21st century living.

Many of our members offer hospitality over lunch on Sundays.  On the first Sunday of the month this is formalised as an 'Open House Lunch', and is particularly enjoyed by those who would normally be on their own.  We also have 'New Comers' Lunches', hosted by church leaders, where those new to the church can meet up with some of those who have been there a little longer.  Consider yourself invited!   Contact the Church Office - tel:                     01832 273674          

Our evening service goes by the name of Focus, and meets at 7.00 p.m. in various homes of OBC members.   The atmosphere at these Sunday evening meetings is very much like a home group.  We worship, we pray, we discuss, and often we follow a series e.g. 'Questions people ask'.  Currently we are focusing on 'Adventurous Prayer'.  Our young people have their own Sunday evening programmes - the Link and the Zone - timed to coincide with Focus, so that parents can drop their children off, come to Focus, and pick them up again, when the meeting finishes.  For further details see under 'Youth Groups' in the main menu.
